I’m from a long line of fantastic bakers.

My mom used to bake and decorate beautiful wedding cakes when my sisters and I were young. She would hand us leftover icing and have us practice piping with buttercream on a parchment lined cookie sheet. I was so eager to be able to pipe as well as she could and relished opportunities to practice. On rainy days and school vacations she would bake sugar cookies with us and it soon became one of our favorite activities.

As I got older I tried my hand at a few cakes. They caused me a lot of anxiety and I quickly decided cakes were not for me. After getting married and starting a family I continued to bake as a hobby and I would score a commissioned job here and there. I always wanted to work in a bakery but being home with my boys and available for my family was my number one priority.

In my previous job, one of my responsibilities was to manage the companies social media. I loved this role because it provided flexibility and allowed me to use my creativity. Soon I was given permission to work from home once a week updating the companies website and managing their social media. I quickly realized I could apply the same skills to a business of my own. I started making paper flowers, custom paper party decor and sugar cookies for celebrations and events. It wasn’t long until I found my niche - Sugar cookies definitely seemed to be my sweet spot. The support from my family, friends, and community is what finally compelled me to start my own business. I couldn’t have done it without the love and support from all of you!

Now... here I am, making and baking, spending long hours in my baking uniform (crocs, an apron, and a mom bun) coffee in hand. When I’m not baking, I’m usually working on another project! Whether it’s refinishing a piece of furniture, redecorating a room, organizing my closets, or planning an event. I like to create and find fulfillment in a finished product. Thanks for stopping by!
